triexercise. is an educational talk series hosted at the Olson Center that will cover topics from running to nutrition to training. The goal is to help YOU accomplish YOUR goal of exercise. Whether it's competing in a triathlon or walking a mile without losing your breath, triexercise. wants to be your support partner.
Each talk will host an expert in a particular field. Timely information will be presented along with Q&A and demonstrations. The series will begin in January and run until May. Each talk will take place over the noon hour so bring your lunch. The series is hosted in the Olson Center Classroom on the 4th floor of the Durham Outpatient Center. Lincoln Murdoch, USAT National Champion, ultramarathon finisher & endurance athlete, returns to triexercise and will be motivating us this year with more training tips and stories. Lincoln will focus on how resistance & strength training can help you whether you are training for a race or for a healthy life. Vicki Creigh, triathlete and endurance coach. Vicki will present on the different methods and tools to enhance your exercise from weights to using a heart-rate monitor.
Nancy Lennarson, triathlete and coach extraordinaire, will discuss possible challenges that you may face with when trying to find the time to exercise and how to overcome them.
