Internal medicine physicians specialize in the care of adults. Patients benefit from the broad focus of a dedicated primary care physician with training in internal medicine and extensive experiences in medical specialty areas. Internists are also trained to recognize when a problem requires the additional expertise of a medical or surgical specialist.
Also available in our Internal Medicine department are our endocrine and metabolic disease specialists. Dr. Lynn Mack-Shipman and Rob Baum, PA offer patients maternal diabetes management and care and for thyroid problems related to pregnancy.
