What is a chair massage? Chair massage is a type of massage that is done through your clothing, mostly to your shoulders, neck and back, but can also include arms and hands.

In a massage chair, you can lean forward while still in an upright position. If for any reason (i.e. pregnancy, knee problems, or recent surgery) you are not comfortable in the massage chair, you may sit in a regular chair to receive your massage. People in wheelchairs can receive a massage while still seated in their wheelchair.
